Know Your Parts slogan, "
It's What's Inside That Counts!," reflects the importance of quality replacement parts. The campaign’s key messages are:
- Regular vehicle maintenance increases the safety, dependability and value of consumers’ second largest household investment: the family car.
- When repair professionals need to replace parts, they should be sure to use premium parts from a full service manufacturer.
- Premium parts are the best value because they offer the highest performance and durability.
- Whether using good, better or best grade products, repair professionals should always make sure the parts are supplied by trusted full service manufacturers.

AAPEX 2011

Know Your Parts campaign will have an exhibit again at this year's AAPEX event in Las Vegas – and this year’s exhibit will highlight the campaign’s new message: “
It’s What’s Inside That Counts!” During AAPEX 2011, AASA will hand out pocket-sized cards with the key

The
Know Your Parts exhibit in Sands #3800 -- just inside the main entrance on the upper level -- will feature many quality products from full service manufacturers including cutaways, side-by-side comparisons with knock off parts and test data results.
Product demonstrations are scheduled for 10 a.m. in the booth on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 1-2. Please plan to stop by and check out why

Supplier Evaluation Standards
AASA developed the ‘Supplier Evaluation Standards’ in an effort to provide all channel partners standardized criteria for supplier selection. By using this form to query suppliers before making a final buying decision, aftermarket channel partners and resellers can ‘know their parts,’ and protect their business’s good name as well as the good reputation of the entire aftermarket.
