OptiCat
AASA has an equity position with OptiCat, the industry’s Do It Once (DIO) data repository. Suppliers have a direct voice with OptiCat, which reduces data time to market, strengthens supplier control over data intellectual property, eliminates the need to deliver multiple data formats to multiple locations and provides access to the world’s most robust vehicle data.
AASA Technology Council (ATC)
The ATC is the professional peer council for executives with responsibilities in the areas of information technology, e-commerce, data management, cataloging, business process, customer support and related areas. It provides forums for the exchange of best practices and opportunities to address the industry’s technology and data challenges.
- Supplier Working Group - A group of ATC members review and establish a unified postion on customer - facing technology areas.
- AftermarketMatch -- Data standards and formats are essential to providing accurate data to customers.
- AftermarketMatch.com is a free online tool that enables suppliers to quickly identify standards, versions, documents and fields that their customers require.
- eCommerce Directory -- The ATC maintains a spreadsheet of customers and their EDI, e-commerce and special ordering initiatives. It is accessible by ATC supplier members.
- Online Member Profile -- Members of the ATC can identify peers with similar software and hardware platforms for the exchange of best practices.

Vehicles in Operation (VIO) Data
Accurate VIO data is required for accurate forecasts. AASA partners with Experian Automotive to deliver VIO data at discounted rates.
Point of Sale (POS) Data
Understanding what is happening at the counter level can distinguish you from your competitors, so AASA has established a discounted fee structure for members to access Epicor's Vista POS data.
